Diálogo 1: Conversación en la oficina
Empleado: Jefa, quería comentarle algo. ¿Sería posible cambiar mi turno de la tarde por uno de la mañana?
Jefa: Depende. ¿Hay algún motivo particular?
Empleado: Es que he empezado un curso online y las clases son por la tarde. Me comprometí antes de saber mi horario aquí.
Jefa: Entiendo. Déjame revisarlo con Recursos Humanos y te confirmo esta semana, ¿de acuerdo?

Diálogo 2: Conversación entre vecinos
Vecino: Hola Carmen, te llamo por el tema del parking. He notado que últimamente aparcan en mi plaza cuando no estoy.
Vecina: Ay, perdona. Es que tengo visitas y no sabía que te molestaba. Creí que no te importaría si no estabas.
Vecino: Lo entiendo, pero necesito que esté libre por si vuelvo. ¿Podrías decirles que usen las plazas de visitantes?
Vecina: Tienes toda la razón. Lo siento mucho, a partir de ahora lo haré así.

Diálogo 3: Reclamación en tienda
Cliente: Buenos días, compré estos auriculares hace una semana y el cable izquierdo dejó de funcionar. Traigo el ticket.
Dependiente: A ver… Sí, veo que están en garantía. ¿Prefiere que se los cambiemos por otros o le devolvemos el dinero?
Cliente: Preferiría el reembolso, la verdad. No me han convencido mucho.
Dependiente: Sin problema. Rellene este formulario y en unos cinco días le ingresamos el importe en su cuenta.

Diálogo 4: Conversación entre estudiante y tutor
Estudiante: Profesor Martínez, le llamo porque tengo dudas sobre los requisitos del trabajo final de la asignatura.
Tutor: Dime, ¿qué necesitas saber?
Estudiante: ¿Es obligatorio incluir una parte práctica o puede ser únicamente teórico? Es que mi tema es bastante abstracto.
Tutor: Tiene que haber al menos un análisis de casos reales, aunque sea breve. La teoría sola no es suficiente para este nivel.

Diálogo 5: Feedback sobre proyecto
Jefe: Laura, he revisado tu propuesta para el proyecto. En general está bien, pero creo que falta más detalle en el presupuesto.
Laura: ¿Te refieres a que debería especificar más los costes?
Jefe: Exacto. Y también sería conveniente incluir un plan B por si hay retrasos. Ya sabes cómo son estos clientes.
Laura: Perfecto, lo amplío y te lo envío mañana por la mañana. Gracias por los comentarios.

Diálogo 6: Conversación entre amigos
Carlos: Oye Patricia, necesito tu opinión sincera. Me han ofrecido un ascenso pero tendría que mudarme a Barcelona.
Patricia: Vaya, eso sí que es importante. ¿Y qué es lo que te hace dudar?
Carlos: Pues que aquí en Madrid tengo a mi familia, mis amigos, toda mi vida… aunque profesionalmente sería un gran paso adelante.
Patricia: Entiendo perfectamente el dilema. Mira, yo creo que deberías evaluar también las oportunidades a largo plazo. A veces un cambio así abre puertas que ni imaginabas.

Diálogo 7: Llamada a la consulta médica
Paciente: Buenos días, llamo para cambiar mi cita con el doctor Ramírez del jueves. Ha surgido un imprevisto laboral de última hora y lamentablemente no voy a poder asistir.
Recepcionista: No se preocupe, lo entiendo perfectamente. ¿Qué día le vendría mejor para la nueva cita?
Paciente: ¿Tiene algún hueco la semana que viene? Preferiblemente por la tarde, si fuera posible.
Recepcionista: Déjeme revisar… Sí, tengo un hueco el martes a las cinco de la tarde. ¿Le viene bien ese horario?

Diálogo 8: Conversación entre hermanos
Hermana: Pablo, sobre la comida familiar del domingo… Mamá quiere organizarla en su casa pero yo creo que somos demasiados.
Hermano: Tienes razón, además ella se cansa mucho preparando todo. ¿Qué propones?
Hermana: ¿Y si reservamos en un restaurante? Así todos disfrutamos y nadie tiene que cocinar ni limpiar.
Hermano: Me parece bien. Aunque tendremos que convencer a mamá, ya sabes que le gusta ser la anfitriona.

Diálogo 9: Consulta sobre vacante
Candidato: Buenos días, vi su anuncio de empleo para diseñador gráfico. ¿Podrían darme más información sobre el puesto?
Reclutadora: Por supuesto. ¿Qué le gustaría saber específicamente?
Candidato: Principalmente el tipo de contrato y si habría posibilidad de trabajo remoto algunos días a la semana.
Reclutadora: Es un contrato indefinido y sí, ofrecemos dos días de teletrabajo semanales una vez superado el periodo de prueba.

Diálogo 10: Inscripción en curso
Interesado: Hola, llamo por el curso de inteligencia artificial para principiantes. ¿Todavía quedan plazas para marzo?
Coordinadora: Sí, aún quedan algunas plazas. ¿Tiene conocimientos previos de programación o empezaría desde cero?
Interesado: He hecho algunos cursos básicos por mi cuenta, pero nada muy técnico. No sé si eso sería suficiente.
Coordinadora: No se preocupe, es algo bastante habitual. Esa base le ayudará. Eso sí, necesitará traer un portátil para instalar el software del curso.

Dialogue 1: Office Conversation
Employee: Boss, I wanted to discuss something with you. Would it be possible to change my afternoon shift to a morning one?
Boss: It depends. Is there a particular reason?
Employee: I’ve started an online course and the classes are in the afternoon. I committed before knowing my schedule here.
Boss: I understand. Let me review it with Human Resources and I’ll confirm this week, okay?

Dialogue 2: Conversation Between Neighbors
Neighbor: Hi Carmen, I’m calling about the parking issue. I’ve noticed that lately people have been parking in my spot when I’m not there.
Neighbor (female): Oh, I’m sorry. I have visitors and I didn’t know it bothered you. I thought you wouldn’t mind if you weren’t there.
Neighbor: I understand, but I need it to be available in case I come back. Could you tell them to use the visitor spots?
Neighbor (female): You’re absolutely right. I’m so sorry, from now on I’ll do it that way.

Dialogue 3: Store Complaint
Customer: Good morning, I bought these headphones a week ago and the left cable stopped working. I brought the receipt.
Sales clerk: Let’s see… Yes, I see they’re under warranty. Would you prefer we exchange them for another pair or refund your money?
Customer: I’d prefer the refund, honestly. They haven’t really convinced me.
Sales clerk: No problem. Fill out this form and in about five days we’ll deposit the amount into your account.

Dialogue 4: Conversation Between Student and Tutor
Student: Professor Martínez, I’m calling because I have questions about the requirements for the final assignment.
Tutor: Tell me, what do you need to know?
Student: Is it mandatory to include a practical part or can it be purely theoretical? My topic is quite abstract.
Tutor: There has to be at least an analysis of real cases, even if brief. Theory alone is not enough for this level.

Dialogue 5: Project Feedback
Boss: Laura, I’ve reviewed your proposal for the project. Overall it’s good, but I think there’s a lack of detail in the budget.
Laura: Do you mean I should specify the costs more?
Boss: Exactly. And it would also be advisable to include a plan B in case there are delays. You know how these clients are.
Laura: Perfect, I’ll expand it and send it to you tomorrow morning. Thanks for the feedback.

Dialogue 6: Conversation Between Friends
Carlos: Hey Patricia, I need your honest opinion. I’ve been offered a promotion but I’d have to move to Barcelona.
Patricia: Wow, that is important. And what’s making you hesitate?
Carlos: Well, here in Madrid I have my family, my friends, my whole life… although professionally it would be a big step forward.
Patricia: I understand the dilemma perfectly. Look, I think you should also evaluate the long-term opportunities. Sometimes a change like this opens doors you never imagined.

Dialogue 7: Call to the Medical Office
Patient: Good morning, I’m calling to change my appointment with Dr. Ramírez on Thursday. A last-minute work issue has come up and unfortunately I won’t be able to attend.
Receptionist: Don’t worry, I understand perfectly. What day would be better for you for the new appointment?
Patient: Do you have any openings next week? Preferably in the afternoon, if possible.
Receptionist: Let me check… Yes, I have an opening on Tuesday at five in the afternoon. Does that time work for you?

Dialogue 8: Conversation Between Siblings
Sister: Pablo, about Sunday’s family meal… Mom wants to organize it at her house but I think we’re too many.
Brother: You’re right, plus she gets very tired preparing everything. What do you propose?
Sister: What if we make a reservation at a restaurant? That way everyone enjoys themselves and nobody has to cook or clean.
Brother: Sounds good to me. Although we’ll have to convince Mom, you know she likes being the host.

Dialogue 9: Job Vacancy Inquiry
Candidate: Good morning, I saw your job posting for a graphic designer. Could you give me more information about the position?
Recruiter: Of course. What would you like to know specifically?
Candidate: Mainly the type of contract and whether there would be possibility of remote work some days a week.
Recruiter: It’s a permanent contract and yes, we offer two days of remote work per week once the probation period is completed.

Dialogue 10: Course Registration
Interested person: Hello, I’m calling about the artificial intelligence course for beginners. Are there still spots available for March?
Coordinator: Yes, there are still some spots available. Do you have previous programming knowledge or would you be starting from scratch?
Interested person: I’ve done some basic courses on my own, but nothing very technical. I don’t know if that would be enough.
Coordinator: Don’t worry, that’s quite common. That foundation will help you. However, you’ll need to bring a laptop to install the course software.
