🎯 Goal: Learn how to conjugate regular verbs ending in -ER in the present tense, and practice using the expressions también (also) and tampoco (neither) in context. We’ll also review -AR verbs from the previous lesson.

🧠 Grammar Explanation: Regular -ER Verbs
In Spanish, regular verbs fall into three main groups:
- Verbs ending in -AR (e.g. hablar, trabajar)
- Verbs ending in -ER (e.g. comer, aprender)
- Verbs ending in -IR (e.g. vivir, escribir)
In this lesson, we focus on regular -ER verbs, which follow a predictable conjugation pattern in the present tense. Regular -AR verbs (e.g., hablar, trabajar) were covered previously, and -IR verbs will be introduced later.
Today we focus on regular -ER verbs. To conjugate -ER verbs, remove the -ER ending and add the appropriate ending based on the subject pronoun:
| Subject | Ending | Example (comer) |
|---|---|---|
| yo | -o | como |
| tú | -es | comes |
